Some love stories deserve a moment as bold and unforgettable as the couple themselves. When Kumar reached out to Eventure Productions with a dream to surprise Karen with a beachfront proposal she’d never forget, we knew just the place—and just how to make it extraordinary.
The vision? A romantic, oceanside engagement at Casitas Maraika, an intimate hideaway only accessible by boat. The challenge? Getting giant “MARRY ME” letters across the bay from Puerto Vallarta to the secluded venue—along with all our floral, décor, lighting, and production equipment.
🌊 By Land, By Sea… and by Panga
Transporting oversized signage is one thing. Doing it across the water in a tiny panga boat? That’s where the magic of our team comes in. We carefully packed each towering letter and every delicate detail into the boat, balancing between gear and crashing waves as we made our way to the venue with just enough time to pull off the surprise.

Once at Casitas Maraika, our team moved quickly—hoisting letters, placing lighting, and styling the beachfront setup just right. The sunset timed itself perfectly. The champagne was chilled. And hidden cameras and drones were ready to roll.

Karen and Kumar’s close friends arrived early, helping to set the mood with laughter, cocktails, and a little beachside misdirection. When the couple arrived, Karen thought they were just joining friends for a casual evening on the beach.

As they walked toward the shoreline, the towering MARRY ME letters came into view. Surrounded by friends, with the ocean behind them and love all around, Kumar dropped to one knee—and Karen said yes. The cheers, the happy tears, the aerial shots—it was all captured with care.
